Connection, Belonging and Mental Health
In-person · Online
Connection and belonging are fundamental human needs, like food and water, yet modern life and ways of working promote distance. Feeling disconnected can lead to higher stress, anxiety and low mood, lower trust and psychological safety, reduced motivation and a greater risk of burnout.
This workshop helps staff understand feelings of disconnection and loneliness, and gives them practical ways to build connection at work and in their personal lives.
Who it’s for
Wellbeing Networks and Mental Health First Aider Networks who want to understand the profound impact of loneliness, disconnection and lack of belonging on mental health and be better equipped to support those around them.
