Why Mental Health First Aid Training?

Mental Health First Aid training upskills managers and teams with the knowledge and skills to become a Mental Health First Aider. On the 2-day course, you will learn how to spot the signs of poor mental health, hold a supportive conversation and guide someone towards the right support.

The training helps minimise the impact of poor mental health on you, your colleagues and your business, while promoting healthier workplaces. It’s designed for a wide range of professionals, including managers, team members, HR and senior leaders.

Training Options

2-Day Adult Mental Health First Aid Course

  • Helps you recognise the signs of poor mental health
  • Builds confidence to start supportive conversations and guide people towards help
  • Emphasises how to protect your own wellbeing while supporting others

Half-Day Refresher

  • Required every 3 years to retain certification.

  • For MHFAiders and holders of Level 3 equivalent, to refresh skills and renew certification
  • Knowledge and confidence so you remain effective in your role.

Beyond the Course: Mentoring & Upskilling

After training, we offer mentoring and upskilling to support MHFAiders in their role. Mentoring and upskilling can help with:

  • Managing your MHFAider network

  • Skills practice and upskilling for your MHFAiders

  • Troubleshooting and best practice

  • Support to embed MHFA into your workplace culture

Learning Experience

Our MHFA training is interactive and not ‘death by PowerPoint’. You’ll learn through discussion, exercises and activities. Sessions are supportive and practical and designed to build your knowledge, skills and confidence.
