Psychological Safety for Teams

In-person (London) · Online (Worldwide)

Psychological safety is about feeling able to speak honestly, ask questions, admit mistakes, disagree, raise concerns and contribute ideas without fear of embarrassment, rejection or negative consequences.

When people don’t feel psychologically safe, they may hold back, stay quiet when something is wrong, avoid asking for help or spend energy worrying about how they will be perceived. When psychological safety is stronger, people are more able to participate fully, work through difficulties and support one another.

Connection and psychological safety create stronger foundations for collaboration, creativity, engagement and feedback. When people are worried about being judged, blamed or excluded, they are more likely to hold back.

This interactive workshop explores what psychological safety really means, why it matters for both wellbeing and how people work together and the everyday behaviours that can strengthen or undermine it.
