Project Description
Suicide First Aid Lite
Suicide prevention awareness training
13% of UK adults surveyed in February 2021 had had thoughts and feelings about suicide in the previous two weeks
This half-day Suicide First Aid Lite course was developed by the National Centre for Suicide Prevention, Education and Training (NCSPT). It teaches learners how to have a conversation that helps someone with thoughts of suicide stay safe.
Suicide can affect anyone and is one of the most preventable deaths. A suicide intervention can take a little as 30 mins.
This course provides learners with information and tools to help them identify when someone may be thinking about suicide, listen non-judgementally and support the person to access help.  This course is suitable for all industries and sectors.
